Skilled nursing
Dressing changes, vital signs, managing the new medications, and a trained eye to catch early when something's going wrong. The nurse comes, checks and reports back to the provider.

Physical: getting up, walking and managing the front step again. Occupational: bathing, dressing and cooking without depending on anyone. Speech: getting words back, or swallowing safely again after an event.
The advantage of doing it at home: you practice on the real stairs, in the real bathroom, in the real kitchen.
03
Help with bathing, personal care and daily movement, for the weeks when doing it alone is still hard. Works within the care plan, not apart from it.

For the son, the husband or the daughter taking this on, we teach the practical things: how to move someone without hurting yourself, what signs to watch, what to do if something changes at night, how to organize medications. Nobody is born knowing this.
How it starts
Home health isn't hired like any other service: it takes a clinical order and the patient meeting the plan's criteria. We verify both and explain it before starting. And you choose the agency — you are never required to use ours, even though we're the same owners as the medical group.
